Who Is Erica?
Erica is currently situated in the Philippines with her husband. Although she was born there she actually grew up in the US. After travelling back home to start her nursing school journey she says she caught chronic wanderlust in which fuelled her desire to travel. Her goal is to light the spark in you to travel and to be adventurous.

The destinations she talks about are mostly are in South East Asia such as Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Get to Know Erica
We asked Erica some questions about her life as a traveller;
Q: What is your favourite destination and why?
Palawan, Philippines. The hidden beaches and uncharted islands are otherworldly. They have the bluest water I’ve ever seen, the most immaculate sands I’ve ever stepped on, and the most captivating underwater site I’ve been fortunate to witness.
Q: If you could only give one single travel tip that you think would be the most helpful what would it be?
Follow your instincts. They tell you everything you need to know.
Q: What is your favourite travel related quote?
“Live the full life of the mind, exhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated by the romance of the unusual.” I’m pretty sure that Ernest Hemingway was thinking of travel.
Q: Who are your favourite travel bloggers and why?
Prior to blogging, my go to for research and planning for my trips were Alex in Wanderland and Nomadic Matt. Now, I check out so many blogs! I’ve been able to connect with other bloggers as well and I love it because I’ve been learning about so many more places in this world that I didn’t even know existed!
Q: What was the single most influential thing/moment that drove you to travel blogging?
My husband and friends has always encouraged me to write about my travels. People would also ask me for tips and advice on where to go or how to get there. But I think what really made me feel like I should do it is when people tell me that I’ve inspired them to travel so they did. And that’s when I felt that I have a voice to influence people. So one morning, I woke up, and just started writing.
Q: What advice you would give someone wanting to become a travel blogger?
Have fun doing it. Because if you’re not, what’s the point?
