Zum Franziskaner is a somewhat more affordable option in Gamla Stan and offers a selection of Swedish and German dishes. From its old town location you are sure to enjoy the hearty meals with amazing views over the harbour. Hermitage Vegetarisk
For a vegetarian fair Hermitage Vegetarisk has nothing but positive accolades and offers an incredible choice of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is not very large and presents a cosy environment whilst being extremely well priced. During busy times seating gets very limited so get in early, particularly if it’s a cold day. Michelangelo
Taking its inspiration from the Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo presents a traditional Italian cuisine. Offering seating for almost 180 it may not be as cosy or intimate however the location and the quality of food certainly balances this out. Fem Små Hus
